TIP OF THE DAY
THURSDAY – Your Energy Is Training Your Dog Tip of the Day:Your dog reads your energy before they ever hear your commands. If you rush, hover, talk excessively, or feel frustrated, your dog feels it instantly—and mirrors it. Calm leadership starts with how you move, breathe, and enter a room. Lifestyle Shift:Slow down transitions today. Doorways, leash time, feeding, greetings. Calm body = calm dog. Why This Matters:Training doesn’t start when you “work” your dog. It starts when you wake up. Book a local consult in The Coachella Valley or join my VIP membership for deeper lifestyle coaching. #TipOfTheDay

THIS WEEK’S COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
This week’s focus: Awareness & Structure Your task: • Create one post answering this question: What part of your dog’s daily routine feels the most unstructured right now? Then: • Comment on at least one other member’s post with a thought, question, or insight. That’s it. This is how: • You earn points • You level up • You get better results with your dog Small actions done consistently outperform big ideas never applied. I know it’s the Holiday Season, but our dogs still exist, Have a cup of coffee and recenter around engagement work with your dog each day here.

LEVELS ARE LIVE + FIRST TO LEVEL 2 INCENTIVE
Quick update as we get this community moving. SKOOL uses levels to reflect participation, not popularity. You don’t level up by lurking — you level up by engaging with the material and the community. Your level number shows on your profile for the community. How Levels Work You earn points by: • Posting inside the community • Commenting on posts • Participating in discussions • Completing lessons (as modules roll out) Points accumulate automatically and unlock higher levels over time. Why Levels Matter Levels help me: • See who’s actually engaging • Identify members who want deeper guidance • Decide who gets early access, bonuses, and private opportunities This community is built for people who apply, not just consume. INCENTIVE To kick things off: 👉 The FIRST member to reach LEVEL 2 will receive: • A private 30-minute Zoom call with me • We’ll review your dog, your routine, and your biggest sticking point • I’ll give you clear, personalized direction you can apply immediately If we have worked together in person, your zoom call can be used to review or help with challenges after I’ve taken your dog for training. No catch. No upsell. Just a reward for taking action early. How to Get There Start simple: 1. Comment on this post 2. Introduce yourself in a new post 3. Engage with at least one other member Momentum starts with participation. Let’s build this the right way — with people who stay engaged. — Marko

Your Energy Is Training Your Dog—All Day Long
Training doesn’t start when you pick up a leash. And it doesn’t end when a session is over. Your dog is reading you constantly: - How you move through your home - • How you respond to stress - • How quickly you react• How calm or rushed you feel - • How clear or inconsistent your expectations are Most behavior issues aren’t caused by a lack of commands. They’re caused by misaligned energy in everyday life. - If you’re anxious, your dog stays on edge. - If you’re inconsistent, your dog stays unsure. - If you’re reactive, your dog mirrors that intensity. This isn’t about being perfect or emotionless. It’s about awareness, regulation, and intention. Real training happens: • In how you enter a room • In how you follow through • In how you correct or redirect • In how you recover after mistakes • In the energy you carry between interactions This is where lifestyle work matters more than drills! Inside the VIP membership, we go deeper into: • Handler energy and timing • Calm leadership vs emotional handling • How daily habits shape long-term behavior • Real-world scenarios—not ideal ones If you’re local and want this applied directly to your dog and your life, that’s exactly what 1-on-1 work is for. Your dog doesn’t need more commands. They need clear, grounded leadership—every day! Join the VIP membership to deepen this work Book a local consult in The Coachella Valley Not local? Have a little FUN while training ! ENJOY your dog!
Saturdays are for Fun with our Dogs if we are off for the day! Let's take a moment to be sure we plan an outing with our dogs to capture some bonding and of course, TRAINING. Here's a little tip. When you take your dog out each time, it doesnt have to be about " fixing the issues " they may. have. Give them some time to go out and focus on engagement and bring a little " FUN " into the mix with their training. My challenge for you... TODAY, have FUN with your dog so they continue to enjoy and engage in training moments . REMEMBER, BALANCE is key! Having fun doesnt mean letting go of boundaries! Lets share our cutting pics with our dogs below in the comments ! Bye for now! Marko Russell
