The Land That Won't Stop Trembling [OKEFENOKEE]
The word Okefenokee comes from the Muscogee Creek term meaning "land of trembling earth." The islands aren't really islands — they're peat mats floating on water, and they actually shake when you step on them. Walk on solid ground out there, and the ground walks back.
