Your Dog’s Behavior Problem Might Actually Be a Leadership Problem 👀
One of the biggest mistakes dog owners make is thinking obedience is just getting their dog to listen inside the house. True leadership is tested in REAL WORLD environments. PACK Leadership is when your dog has: ✔️ Confidence in you ✔️ Trust in your guidance ✔️ Respect for your commands When those 3 things are missing, you’ll usually see: • Reactivity on walks • Ignoring commands outside • Pulling on leash • Anxiety or overexcitement • Lack of focus around distractions A lot of dogs become reactive because they don’t feel secure. They feel like THEY have to make decisions instead of following your lead. That’s why obedience has to go beyond the living room. Can your dog: 🐕 Listen at the park? 🐕 Stay calm around other dogs? 🐕 Follow commands around kids, people, and distractions? 🐕 Respect boundaries outside the house? THAT is real obedience.
