Quick Tip for Your Next Virtual Meeting (This One Actually Matters)
When you’re on a Zoom, Google Meet, or any virtual call with prospects or members, don’t do the classic “floating head” close-up.
Instead, sit back a little and frame the shot so your shoulders and arms are visible.
Why?
Body language builds trust faster than words alone. When people can see your shoulders, posture, hand movements, and overall presence, they subconsciously feel more connected and confident in you.
• A relaxed but upright posture shows confidence and openness
• Visible arms and natural gestures make you appear more authentic and human
• It prevents that “interrogation room” vibe from having your face filling the entire screen
Pro move:
Position your camera at eye level (or slightly above), sit about 2–3 feet back, and make sure there’s enough space to see your upper body. You want to look like you’re having a real conversation across a table — not a selfie.
Small tweak. Big difference in how quickly people trust you.
