Today I want to pause and feel excited that Chookity Chook, and the next one in the series, Chookity Chook and the Barnyard Parade, have been released in Waterstones — a dream come true. My late son would be so proud to see these stories in print. 🐓💜 I also want to honour the incredible Yogesh, who brought my characters to life with such care and creativity. Chookity was always going to be emotional to create, but Yogesh captured him perfectly — a true gift I will always treasure. 🙏

I seem to be having a good run with my books, and a publisher has also picked up this little gem that I wrote years ago, and it will be on sale in time for Halloween. I have rewritten the story to change it from Halloween Town to Monster Town just to make it more evergreen, and not just focused on Halloween as a specific holiday.
