WhatsApp works differently. It’s built on existing relationships. The people in your contacts already know you, and it’s easier to start conversations and get quicker responses.
So it’s not really about which one is better. It’s about where you are right now.
If you already have people around you who could use your service; friends, colleagues, community, whatsApp is a strong place to start.
If your audience isn’t in your immediate circle, or you need to reach new people, then Instagram becomes important.
The mistake is trying to do everything at once without being clear on your starting point.
