Good Morning
Steadfast Sunday Morning
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for walking us through another week. Thank You for the trials we survived and the victories we celebrated. Thank You that whether we were in a valley or standing high on a mountain, we were never alone.
Thank You for the simple things I too often overlook as ordinary when they are really gifts. The quiet of early morning. The people I love. The strength to get up one more time. The very opportunity to begin a new day. I truly enjoy our sunrises together.
Today I lift up our entire community and their families. Bless every home represented here. Strengthen the marriages that feel stretched. Comfort the hearts that feel heavy. Encourage the one who is tired of being strong. Protect our children. Guide our steps. Restore hope where it has grown thin.
Father, help me be a better person today than I was yesterday. Quicker to listen. Slower to judge. Softer in my tone. Stronger in my faith. To everyone in my life and every person I encounter, let me be a blessing as You are.
Amen.
Message
This is a soul stirring, spirit steadying Sunday that God made.
If this past week stretched you, you are not alone. If it surprised you with joy, that was a gift. If you felt both in the same hour, welcome to real life. The fact that you are here this morning means grace carried you farther than you realized.
Some of you fought quiet battles no one saw. Some of you celebrated wins you prayed for a long time. Some of you simply kept showing up when it would have been easier to quit. That matters more than you know.
Today, let your shoulders drop a little. Let your heart breathe. Sit with the ones you love. Call someone you miss. Step outside and let the sun remind you that light always returns.
Be kind to yourself. You are growing, even when it feels slow. You are healing, even when it feels incomplete. You are stronger than you think and more loved than you sometimes remember.
And yes, laugh today. Even if the laundry is still there. Even if the to do list is whispering your name. Joy is not irresponsible. It is strength.
You do not have to have it all figured out. You just have to take the next faithful step.
Rest deeply. Love generously. Speak life. Show grace. Carry hope.
May your Sunday be steady, joyful, and full of quiet reminders that you are never walking alon
