How to get clients to make decisions...
I am sure we have all had those client that even with a fee in place for change orders, they cannot stop changing their minds! Over my years in design I have found that you have to make the designs very real to the client. You cannot just bring a digital version (even just a realistic rendering). You have to have the materials on hand. Additonally, be direct and asked things up front and in person, such as, "What do you think of this material?" "Do you like how there is a unique texture and shine or not?" Guiding the client to express in person whether or not they like someone either gets you to a decision on the spot or at least in a much better direction than where you started. Try this out during your next appt and let me know how this goes! You got this!

The MOMENT I knew I was undercharging as an interior designer
- Working nonstop - Resentment toward clients - No profit margin You do not have to undercharge to get work! If anything, undercharging for the wrong clients takes up space. Then you get the right client while still stuck with the low priced project. This is not a fun place to be. Become a member of my page for more posts and courses to help you through design scenarios.
