Hey Yall Hey!! I wanted to share with you all but didn't know what to say to those that peruse by this community. So, I was like Dee what can you say to the people? And myself was like... yoouuuu rraaaannng!? And it answered back saying, why don't you just free type.. like duuuhh!! So, here goes! (disclaimer tho: I use SO alllott!) (another disclaimer.. I'm not a psychiatrist, therapist, or nothing like that. I just trust in the Lord with all my heart and believe everything that we need has already been written.)
In Relationships:
I am a divorcee with 3 children. 1 - 26 year old grown man, 1 teen (about to be 16 and wants to drive! Send Help Quick!), and a 6 year old babygirl whom challenges my EVERYTHING! It's hard living with yourself. 🤪 What I've noticed is that my relationships with them has had to constantly change as they and I aged (gracefully!).
As a single parent, many people want to include their input. They tell you what, when, how, why, and what not. But, "In the Beginning" God already gave me the instructions. So, He told me, I'm just the vessel He chose to bring their life through. Then He told me that my mission with all three of them is not to control them, but to guide, build, and promote them by way of His Word and by the Fruit of the Spirit. He tells me that the most important of those fruit is to love them. Love on them genuinely and whatever correction needed will be well received. Wellll... for the most part because that tricky heart wants what it wants. Naturally, we will get pushback, but remain steadfast and unmovable, always abounding by His Word.
