Welcome to the Brotherhood
If you’re new, read this first. Go to the Start Here course and read through the first few lessons. That course explains how everything works, how the courses connect, and how to use this community well. Also, I'll be posting some in the Daily Reflections section to spur some conversations through the week. I HIGHLY encourage you to jump on in. I'm glad you're here and can be the best transformation of your life if you really engage with it.
How Do You Challenge Yourself?
Something @Boon Bowling and I have been discussing on the side is how we like to challenge ourselves with various athletic endeavors. I know this is something @Lance Rogerson and I have talked about too. So, this has made me curious. Who else likes to have a race or something on their calendar because it helps keep them focused and aligned? And what does it help you with? What do you see happening if you don't have that thing on your calendar?
Shaving time

Wins of the week
I know he won't say it, so I will. A couple of days ago @Joey Spadafore sent me a video of him repping out a ton of pull ups this week which is a huge win. He's been working so hard on keeping fitness a part of his life through all the setbacks and I just wanted to publicly say congrats and you've done a great job sticking to it.
Intro - Jeff Murphy
Welcome everyone. My name is Jeff Murphy. I live in San Antonio, TX. I’m married to Jen with 3 kids ages 14, 12, and 8. I’m 41 years old. I work as an engineer in the oil and gas world. I enjoy lifting, running, soccer, snowboarding, golf, and spending time with the family. I woke up a few months after turning 40 and realized I wasn’t happy in my life and marriage. Set out in October 2024 on a journey of self reflection and self improvement. Primary goal was to improve my marriage but I quickly realized that involved fixing myself first. It’s been a great journey with many improvements in various aspects of my life. I’m now very committed to my health but looking for a continued community of like minded men looking for self improvement and to better themselves. I’m looking forward to this opportunity!
