Welcome! to "Building My 1st Business" 🎉
Welcome, Future Entrepreneurs 👋 I have been in Skool for a while and have been looking for a group that will truly help any aspiring entrepreneur get started — not just get sold to. A lot of groups jump straight into SALES when someone new might not even know where to begin. That is what this group is all about. We will tackle the basics, the foundation, and the roadmap towards building a new business based on YOUR own passion and dream. Let me tell you a little about myself — because I want you to know that I understand exactly where you are starting from. After graduating from college, I began my career as a Psychologist. Much of my work then was focused on recruitment of staff and trainees for the Training Center. Through years of hard work and raising three children completely on my own as a single mother, I rose to become a Provincial Director of TESDA — the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority of the Philippines — directing an entire provincial office in Bukidnon, Malaybalay. I know what it means to work hard, stay disciplined, and keep going no matter what. I also know what it means to try and fail in business. I sold household appliances to my coworkers. I ran a computer shop — managing rentals, encoding and research services — all on my own. I tried building an online business and lost money trusting the wrong providers who never delivered on their promises. That last experience is what brought me here. I wasted money I could not afford to lose. I felt overwhelmed by technology. I felt alone trying to figure it all out. And I realized — nobody was showing new entrepreneurs the right path first. That gap — between wanting to start and actually starting a business — is exactly what we are here to close. Together. Google says that "While roughly 23% of adults have entrepreneurial intentions, only 16–19% of adults are actively engaged in starting or running a new business." In 2022 alone that was nearly 5.5 Million people — and the majority were women. Majority or about 85% quit within one year.
