The Care Certificate course is an induction standard for new healthcare support and adult social care workers in the UK, providing the foundational knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. It is composed of 16 mandatory standards that must be met through both theoretical study and practical, observed assessment in the workplace.
