"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7 Read that slowly. The fear that keeps you small — the one that sounds so reasonable, so responsible, so much like wisdom — is not from Him. It never was. A sound mind. Not a mind that waits for everyone else's approval before it moves. Not a mind that needs the whole room to nod first. A sound mind knows what it was given and uses it. The same hands that have held and helped others were also given something to build. Tending your own calling is not selfishness. It is stewardship. Prayer for this week: Lord, help me tell the difference between the caution You give and the fear I have practiced. Give me courage for one small obedience this week. Amen.
