This piece from my Avatar series exploring identity in motion.
The figures are present, but not fully formed.
You see them, then you lose them, then they return differently.
It’s like looking at a person through energy instead of through the body.
I’m interested in that space where form is still becoming.
Where identity is unstable, shifting, almost spiritual.
The colors act like signals of consciousness, not decoration.
They carry movement, tension, and awareness.
There’s a kind of sweet distortion here.
You recognize human presence, but it refuses to settle into clarity.
This work asks:
when does a form become a person… and does it ever fully arrive?
For me, the Avatar is not a fixed figure.
It is a process of becoming.
