Hello Members. How would rate your level of financial literacy currently from a scale of 1-10? My honest assessment is that I'm currently about a 6 or 7. I have really delved deep into learning about financial literacy and I think my level of knowledge may be at a 8 or slightly better. But because I am still fairly new and sometimes struggle with the discipline, is why I rate myself where I have....What about yourselves? Where are you currently at on a scale of 1 to 10

It talked about how the maker of the games always win. The games that look like you can win just by being lucky is rigged. He goes on to talk about taking the first INTENTIONAL step towards investing. And not simply betting on some luck to come your way. So…… I took the 1st step. I opened a brokerage account 😆😆😆

Hello Everyone! How are yall enjoying the first selection? Hope it has opened your eyes to the world of financial literacy. During our journey, I'm going to introduce books of financial literacy from different perspectives. Whether you aspire to become a "rock star" investor like Robert Kyosaki or a more practical investor like Dave Ramsey, both sides practice the methods mentioned in our first reading, The Richest Man in Babylon. My next book selection is The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. I dont know if yall are familiar with Dave. He has a YouTube channel where he gives financial advice to the "common person". The 9 to 5 person that wants to know how build a nice nest egg for retirement. He gives advice on the practical way to handle debt, car and home purchases, and school tuition amongst other things. He suggests blueprints to how you can execute the Disciplines mentioned in The Richest Man...... You may also find this book on Youtube if im not mistaken. But please please please, post your thoughts on our first selection!
