Religious fasts vs 3-6 week fast. There's a difference.
I've been thinking about something today that I'd like to share with you. I've been talking to a viewer on YT, and they mentioned that they are preparing for their annual monthly fast - Ramadan. But I got the feeling that they were comparing this 3-6 week fast with Ramadan. The fasts are nothing alike. Ramadan, as they explained it to me, is that you don't eat anything during the day, but after sunset you have a meal. Well, the fasting method that I'm introducing to you is different. We don't eat any solid food for 3 or 6 weeks, no matter the time of day. This is a healing fast; Ramadan is a religious fast, and they are very different. What were your reasons to start fasting or even to think about it? Were they religion based od health? I'd dearly like to know. Drop a note in the comments and let's chat.

There's something very frightening and liberating at the same time, being in charge of your own community, no matter its size. What to say, how to encourage, and especially how to help. This is my dilemma right now. I have 30 years of experience with fasting from 3 to 6 weeks without food. But what I would like to know is where you would like me to begin? What subjects should we discuss? I like to teach, I think this is something that I was born to do, but teaching isn't enough if you have no ears to listen to you. So, here is my question for today.
