Wanderlane – AI-Powered Complete Trip Booking | Hackathon Demo

Last month, I had the opportunity to participate in an AI Hackathon powered by Vocal Bridge and Sabre at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.

For the hackathon, I built Wanderlane — a web app designed to let users plan and book an entire trip in one place.

The idea was simple: what if instead of jumping between multiple websites to plan a trip, you could handle the whole experience from one app?

Wanderlane combines Voice AI with a web interface, allowing users to talk through their travel plans, explore options, make selections, and put together their complete trip.

Since I was flying solo, I kept the UI pretty simple and focused most of my time on making the experience and integrations work end-to-end.

I used Vocal Bridge for the Voice AI experience, Sabre for travel data and booking capabilities, and n8n to orchestrate the backend workflows connecting everything together.

The event itself was awesome — very well organized, great people, and great food!
