TODAY'S CHALLENGE: THE MONA LISA
Hello Black Widow Community. Some of our previous challenges we’re hard to solve, so I thought I would go easy this time round and give you scenario based questions. The challenge starts below this line of text. ===== The midnight air is thick with the hum of server fans in your windowless office. You’ve been tracking a threat actor known only as "The Architect" a ghost on the dark web suspected of orchestrating a string of high-profile data breaches. You have nothing but a wall of dead-ends. There is no text. No malicious code. No suspects. Just a single, innocent-looking JPEG file of the Mona Lisa, something that looks like it was taken off of Google. You suspect it’s a decoy, but your gut tells you otherwise. You run a hexadecimal analysis on the file structure and notice the metadata contains strings of characters that don't belong in a standard image header. Suddenly, the screen flickers. You aren't looking at the Mona Lisa anymore. The values shift, the pixels realign, and a string of clear-text coordinates and cryptographic keys spill across your terminal. You found another clue. In the world of cybersecurity and digital forensics, what is this process of concealing information within text and images called? ===== This is easy, but as always. Goodluck

Python Challenge #1: Build a Simple Student Report Card
Python is an ethical hacker's greatest weapon because it is fast, easy to learn, and incredibly powerful. It allows us to write custom tools in minutes that can scan networks, find hidden weaknesses, and automate complex tasks that would take hours by hand. With a massive library of ready-made code at your fingertips, you can build anything from a simple script to a sophisticated cyber kill chain. It's why I'll be posting more python challenges. ===== YOUR TASK: 1. Create 4 variables, using EXACTLY these names: name -> a string enrolled -> a boolean age -> an integer exam_score -> a float (must be a decimal) 2. Prints each variable next to its data type, using type(). Hint: You must call type() on all 4 variables. 3. Uses isinstance() to confirm exam_score is a float, and prints the result (True/False). Hint: must have 2 arguments. ===== To successfully complete this challenge look for this on line 28: ---- WRITE YOUR CODE BELOW THIS LINE ---- Input your code here, DO NOT touch the code outside this two lines. ---- WRITE YOUR CODE ABOVE THIS LINE ---- Once your done running your code. The console underneath will tell you if you've Passed or Failed the challenge. YOUR TERMINAL IS HERE!!!

The Project Void Challenge 3
This challenge was developed by Hybriona Technologies and is specifically designed to help you build and sharpen your reconnaissance muscles. The challenge relies entirely on OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), which is just a legal way of using publicly available data across the internet to track down information or in this case: THE ANSWER. This is pure digital detective work, so use the internet wisely. How to play: - Comment under this post what you think the answer is and explain how you found it. - If you need a nudge in the right direction, just comment HINT. - Official answer will be revealed in the next Project Void Challenge. The challenge starts below this line of text. ===== I am repeating again - “Be an opportunist”. Do online research whenever you can. Nothing is stopping you. For this puzzle, you need to find the name of a place, official name. Read closely, I need an official name of the place. No compromise with that!! I’ll wait for your response while I dive into a book on Samuel F. Breese’s inventions. ===== ~ From: ascriptkiddie The Previous Project Void Answer: Wheeler Island. Inside the posts image, there's a line of text reading "YJGGNGT KUNCPF" this challenge requires a Caesar Cipher Shift to understand the line of text. In the image it hint at SHIFT. 002. By using an online Caesar Cipher Shift of 2 on "YJGGNGT KUNCPF", you get Wheeler Island which is the answer to the challenge. PS: I'll be introducing Python Challenges as well.

The challenge starts below this line of text. ===== If you have solved one of our challenges then you'll realize that I am not only testing you but also training you. As I told you before, this challenge of mine won't be easy! I need the best of the best for the job. This is another puzzle where you need to send me the name of a place. Here, you can use online ethical hacking tools to save time or avoid extra work. Perhaps, you can even learn what the Caesar Cipher is...if you don't already know. It all depends on you! You have to be an opportunist! You have to be a learner. And in case you don't know, the second image is part of the challenge. ===== ~ From: ascriptkiddie The Previous Project Void Answer: Eureka Public Library. Inside the posts image, geographical co-ordinates can be found when you zoom into the word URGENT, specifically above the letters "GE". Searching those co-ordinates on google maps will you give you a location called Eureka, which will show you the Eureka Public Library not far from that location. This challenge can be found in the technical questions tab, this time round answer will only be revealed in the next challenge to encourage others to also participate.
