I recently decided to step away from an opportunity with a local magazine publisher. The reason was simple: the expectation of making 100 cold calls a day brought me absolutely no joy. The moment I committed to no longer doing work I don't enjoy, the decision became easy. Not every opportunity is the right opportunity. Sometimes the best thing you can do is be honest with yourself, trust your instincts, and focus on the work that energizes you. For me, that's coaching, LinkedIn, podcasting, and helping people grow their businesses.
