If everyone was a mind-reader....
If everyone was a mind-reader, HOW & WHAT would you be thinking?
Would you alter how you speak about others & yourself internally?
How would you show up?
How would you think?
What would you think?
Would you be more present?
What would your internal dialogue look like?
When I woke up this morning, I had this image in my mind of walking around reading others' thoughts and realizing that some of the things I was thinking were 'off'- totally out of alignment with who I am.
This was inspired John Wooden who said, "The true test of a man's (/woman's) character is what he (/she) does when no one is watching."
I asked myself: "how & what would I be thinking if no one was around?" which led me to think about the prospect of my thoughts heard. It was a very deep moment of self-realization. I am EXACTLY who I choose and think myself to be. It's that simple.
So, today, wherever you are in the world, whatever you are doing, please think on this question and ask yourself: who am I when no one is watching? (and what do I truly think?)
