This is another favorite that is actually on a list for must reads for teenagers. Found years ago in 2020 or so. A young girl named Frankie's life spirals after seeing her boyfriend get killed. After an incident, she if forced to live with her cop father in another part of town...more "dangerous" in her mother's eyes. She meets dreamy and bad boy, Marco..who also races. For fun and money. She has to do community service at a boys and girls club type place, where his little sister goes. A relationship is formed between them..plus new friendship with tough girl name Cruz. Just finished reading the fourth book of the series. How one murder can lead you to the murder of your own mother...heartbreaking. what's really heartbreaking is everything she endures and finds out about her mom. CAPTAIN IRONS is the biggest pain in the book, only caring about his image. I dont see the purpose of Hinesburg yet. She doesnt seem to care about being a cop...in comparison to all the other cops mentioned in the book. It broke me on Don. Goes to just open a door and.... The way Jameson is helping Heat to open up is the best. We all want someone who can do that for us. When you have a hard past, you really do want someone to break your walls that you put up and get you to the life and love you deserve. They may not have said the words to each other, but you can feel what they're feeling towards each other as you read...the humor and behavior towards each other is another fun part. Fun quick question: if you have seen the TV show, who were the best looking men or women to you? Mine were her two boyfriends before getting serious with castle, Josh and Demming

A little proof of my love of my books. This is the very same exact book I got in 7th grade. This book got me started on my love for reading. I've kept it all these years in the best possible condition considering all the moving I've done all these years. This book is a teen romance. Cathy starts her first ocean lifeguarding duties on a island. She moves in with her aunt and cousin. She falls for head lifeguard, Jay, who unfortunately has a girlfriend. The girlfriend is the kind of girl that's more into shopping than getting down and dirty. Things start to happen, not bad, and feelings get shown/ changed. It is her best summer ever. The fact that she also reads is a plus of course. Ever since this book, I have been reading non stop. I can't even give you a number on the amount of books I have read. I would have over 5000 on my kindle if my old account hadn't got hacked, but I am back to 1000 on kindle, a few hundred on book funnel, plus probably 100 or so on paperback. ( I haven't counted my paperback books yet) Some people ask..why do I love to read. One: it took my mind away from things that I was going through. Two: The world's you go into with each book is fun and exciting. Three: I always put myself as the female lead and pictured me doing all that was done in the book. And four: the writing plus the cover look is great! Reading can also enhance your own creativity and writing skills, which is why I am trying my own hand in writing.
