Question about "The Intro"
I've been using the same intro in all my videos (5 so far) and am wondering if it's becoming repetitive to people who watch multiple videos and if I could do better, or if it's not that big of a deal. Gave it some thought after watching Jordan's "Magnetic Communication" video and came up with a new Intro when using The Format.
Old/Current:
"Hi, I'm Gary Bremermann, I'm a Tokyo-based recruiter and founder of Happy Mondays, an online and offline community designed to support career growth for bilingual professionals in Japan."
New/Considering:
"Hi, I'm Gary, I help bilingual professionals in Japan master the core skills and knowledge you need to accelerate career growth and find more joy in your work."
Three questions:
1) Is it good to mix it up a bit while still having consistency to "implant" the value proposition?
2) Is the New/Considering one better than the Old/Current one? The new one doesn't mention my role (recruiter) or the community I'm working on building (Happy Mondays) so feeling like not doing so might be a mistake.
3) I've been using first and last name, but am thinking to change to just first name. Not sure which is better.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
