Sometimes I hear from my Book Buggies some statement like, "I'm a terrible writer, I didn't write at all today," or, " Someone told me that since I'm an author, I must be smart, but I couldn't remember [insert word name/spelling here]."
I want you all to know something.
Your worth is not tied to how much or how well you do anything; YOU are important. YOU have value on your own, no matter what.
And sure, you'll have days of doubt about your skills or time management. But nothing is a waste. If you spend time with family or friends instead of writing, you're strengthening a bond. If you choose to snack or exercise, you're strengthening yourself. And even if you start another project that isn't your most current project, that's okay.
Because you know what?
THAT is progress, too. And also? You're giving your brain a break, room to breathe and process all of the other things.
Besides, there's more to you than writing; that's just one awesome piece of who you are. And you've got this. 💖
