The concept: I discovered that character interviews are extremely effective in getting authors out of writer's block, and I mastered a process that has a 100% success rate of doing that! I designed a mini course based on that service (which I also offer!), that teaches you my process. Well, now you'll get to try doing the interviewing! Bring a mug of cocoa, message me your email address if you'd like to participate, and we'll kick off my latest! I will have a character for you to interview (with questions that are PG-13 friendly or cleaner), and we'll chat on a Google Doc! The comment bubbles can be used for group members to interact with each other, and I'll spotlight particularly good questions! Limited spaces so that everyone can participate! *This will be a weekly event! I hope to see you there! (^.^) Love, Ursula Jynx, Your slightly nutty book coach and The Fourth Wall Therapist
Sometimes I hear from my Book Buggies some statement like, "I'm a terrible writer, I didn't write at all today," or, " Someone told me that since I'm an author, I must be smart, but I couldn't remember [insert word name/spelling here]." I want you all to know something. Your worth is not tied to how much or how well you do anything; YOU are important. YOU have value on your own, no matter what. And sure, you'll have days of doubt about your skills or time management. But nothing is a waste. If you spend time with family or friends instead of writing, you're strengthening a bond. If you choose to snack or exercise, you're strengthening yourself. And even if you start another project that isn't your most current project, that's okay. Because you know what? THAT is progress, too. And also? You're giving your brain a break, room to breathe and process all of the other things. Besides, there's more to you than writing; that's just one awesome piece of who you are. And you've got this. 💖 Love, Ursula Jynx, Your slightly nutty book coach and The Fourth Wall Therapist
