Hi everyone- I’m Frank, and I wanted to introduce myself before things change here. I just joined the group and was sorry to hear Sage is stepping away. Huge thanks to him for building a space with over 120 people, that’s no small achievement, and I’m grateful to have seen it before the transition. I’ve been playing and GMing since 1983 across D&D, Champions, Shadowrun, Gamma World, Top Secret, and my personal favorite, Traveller. I’m also an indie publisher under the name CyborgPrime, creating tools and supplements for sci-fi RPGs, mostly Traveller SRD/OGL material. (You may have seen my stuff on YouTube or DriveThruRPG.) Lately I’ve been exploring how AI can support tabletop GMs (faster prep, NPCs, maps, portraits, all of it) and that’s actually how I ended up on Skool in the first place. I’m building a new community around that topic and wanted to learn from what other creators are doing, so thank you again, Sage, for the example you set here. Hey y’all I’m Nate, dm, writer, DnD player. I’ve been wanting to get into the DnD YouTube space for some time DnD have Scripts written for videos I’m just trying to think of like some best practices. Any advice?

What are some of the best moments you've had playing RPGs? I would love to hear about your critical successes, epic failures, or weird off the wall unexpected outcomes.

I'd love to hear some stories about what led to your first experience into RPGs. Mine was a sixth grade teacher told me there was a D&D club and I would really like it. I don't really remember much about the club. I think the club ended because of the satanic panic. I didn't know what that was at the time. But a group of us broke off and started playing the Atlantis trilogy in whatever quarters a teacher would allow us to play.

Has anyone thought about making an Arttificer that becomes a Lich? I think a cool Villian idea would be a Lich Artificer that uses their Steel Defender(Battle Smith) or their Armor(Armorer) for their body, while their Phsylactery is their Homonculus(so it can move and stay hidden)
