Welcome to The Bluegrass Woodshed
This is a community built for Bluegrass players at every level — from first-time pickers to seasoned professionals.
The idea is simple: everybody in here knows something somebody else doesn’t. Whether you’ve been playing 40 years or 40 days, your knowledge has value here. Members are encouraged to share songs, licks, breaks, solos, and anything worth passing on.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:
Community lessons — members teaching members. The collective knowledge in this room is deeper than any single instructor.
Instrument builds — we’re building a banjo and a fiddle from scratch and documenting every step.
Music theory — scales, the circle of fifths, the Nashville Number System.
Shop reviews — hitting the road to document instrument shops.
This is not a place where one person stands at the front of the room and lectures. This is a woodshed. And in the woodshed everybody works.
