Don’t fall for the trends!! Claims of “longer retention” isn’t what it seems!!
✨ Why Lash Fills & Proper Maintenance Matter ✨ Lash extensions are an investment in your beauty routine — and just like any investment, they require maintenance. Here’s why scheduling your lash fills every 2–3 weeks and washing your lashes regularly is so important: 💎 Your Natural Lash Cycle Your natural lashes shed every day. On average, we lose 2–5 natural lashes daily. When that lash sheds, your extension sheds with it. Fills every 2–3 weeks keep your set looking full, balanced, and beautiful. 🧼 Clean Lashes = Healthy Lashes Regular cleansing removes: • Oil buildup • Makeup residue • Dead skin cells • Bacteria Skipping washes can lead to irritation, poor retention, or even infections. Clean lashes also retain extensions better! 📆 Why Waiting Too Long Is a Problem If you wait longer than 3 weeks: • You’ll have too many grown-out lashes • Extensions can twist or become heavy on outgrown lashes • Your artist may require a full set instead of a fill • Retention may suffer long-term ⚠️ Be Careful of “Extensions That Last Too Long” If your extensions are lasting excessively long with little shedding, that can actually be a red flag. It may mean: • Lashes are too heavy for your natural lash • Improper isolation was done • Too much adhesive was used This can lead to: • Premature lash loss • Breakage • Thinning natural lashes • Long-term damage Healthy lash extensions should shed naturally with your lash cycle — not stay stuck on for 6+ weeks. ✨ The goal isn’t just full lashes… it’s healthy natural lashes underneath them. If you’re ready to maintain your lash health the right way, book your fill every 2–3 weeks and don’t forget your lash baths! Your lashes (and your natural lash line) will thank you 💕 #LashEducation #HealthyLashes #LashMaintenance #LashArtist #LuxuryLashes
