Instagram and Facebook bots behave weirdly (+ few other ?'s)
After a bit more testing:
My Instagram bot doesn't ask day, morning or afternoon. After asking my timezone, despite the prompt it went straight to picking a day and suggesting two times in the morning. It didn’t ask for email or phone number either... so the contact in GHL has neither, and it can't receive notifications from my custom workflow. 🙄 IG behaved this way **both** times I tested it. FB Messenger executed these steps flawlessly. Any ideas?
My first test DM on FB Messenger included a website. The bot didn't respond. Then I asked "Hello?" and the bot responded. On IG I sent a DM with a website on the second message and it did get a response. Anyone else noticing trouble with messages that include websites?
OpenAI question, if anyone happens to know: I updated an Assistant only to find it stubbornly kept my original prompt text after several refreshes. Only after I punched at it and pasted over the whole thing did the Assistant save my changes. Anyone else experience this?
In Consolidata, do you set up separate chatbots for Facebook and Instagram? Or do you put them both under the same chatbot? If you have tested both, have you noticed a difference? The BizdomPrompts prompt generator gives one prompt for both FB and IG. Right now I have both hooked up to one bot, one OpenAI Assistant.
How do you handle someone sending multiple messages at once? I came over from another bot that was good at that, allowing an adjustable delay to consider multiple messages. Some people prefer to send spurts of multiple messages rather than putting everything into one.
