The Biggest Mistake Parents Make
Here's something I wish every parent knew. Many families wait until their child is "ready"
ready to sit still
ready to pay attention
ready to understand
But children don't become ready before they start; they become ready because they start. Think about walking. You didn't wait until your child had perfect balance before letting them try, and language works the same way.
Don't wait for perfect pronunciation or until they know enough vocabulary.
Let them try, because every attempt is building confidence.
Today's challenge
Ask your child one simple question in Spanish today, like “¿Cómo te sientes hoy?” (How do you feel today) Even if they answer in English, celebrate the interaction instead of correcting them, and tell us how it went.
**Let me know if you need me to send a video on how to pronounce it in Spanish**
