đŤđĽ Burnout is Not Your Portion
The world toils endlessly, chasing survival, status, and self-worth. But as a believer, youâre not under the curse â youâre in Christ (Galatians 3:13). đ We donât work as the world works. đ´ The world toils (yaga, kopos) â striving, grinding, and accumulating wealth that, in the end, will be transferred to the righteous (Proverbs 13:22). đ˘ We work (avodah, ergon) â from abundance, as an act of worship, stewardship, and dominion under Christ's authority (Colossians 3:23). While the world chases wealth, the Bible says: âThe sinnerâs wealth is stored up for the righteous.â (Proverbs 13:22) đ° This means that as the world wears itself out chasing profit, God is positioning His people to inherit what they didn't strive for. đ¸ We donât chase wealth â we steward it. We donât work to survive â we work to serve. đĽ If youâre burned out, it might be a sign youâre working like the world â striving for identity, approval, or survival. But in Christ, you donât work for identity â you work from identity (2 Corinthians 5:17). You donât work for survival â you walk in authority (Matthew 28:18). If you feel overwhelmed, ask yourself: Am I working for manâs approval or for Godâs gloryâ (Colossians 3:23) Am I striving in my own strength, or walking in Christ's authorityâ (Matthew 28:18) Am I chasing survival, or stewarding from abundanceâ (2 Peter 1:3) â ď¸ You were never meant to toil. You were created to work in partnership with God â as a creator, servant, and steward of His Kingdom on earth đł
