Welcome to our community! This post is pinned here to kind of explain who we are. BSLC is new to Skool, but Bible Study Life has been around for almost eight years. It started as a simple Bible study at my kitchen table with just myself and my wife Nancy. The Holy Spirit showed up and taught us amazing things! As I was prayer walking one day, I felt the Lord encourage me to have the Bible study go live on Facebook. Suddenly we had people, literally, from all over the world stopping by and studying the Word with us. Though there were changes here and there, the Bible study remained. Eventually becoming Bible Study Life. This year, we felt God was leading us a new direction. And while Bible Study Life remains on social media and probably always will, this BSL on Skool was a new part of it; added to what we were already doing. Here, instead of a general Bible study, we will have focused courses on particular topics and Christian growth. Some of the topics we are hoping to develop here at BSLC (these are not in order): The Gospels The Lords Prayer The Gifts of the Spirit The Beatitudes The Parables A Fantastic Marriage From the White House to My House The Armor of God The Strength of Joy And many others. The Bible is jam packed with topics we need to study to have spiritual growth in our lives. Especially in the day we live in where so much distraction and struggles assail us every minute! We plan to keep this Skool free. Instead of charging for the membership, we will occasionally charge for a course. Minimally at best. Enough to cover the costs of this account and the time involved. Now, I am fairly versed in platforms like this one, but I am by no means a know-it-all. Feel free to add your advice if you know the Skool world well. Thank you for becoming part of our community. Please, don't hesitate to ask questions. I also work full time, so I might not be able to answer quickly, but I will always get to it! One last thing. I want to say hello and welcome to some of our new members. I know we are still pretty small, but we aren't here to get members, we are here to learn more about God and His Word! In the last few days we have had Lucinda Hoon, Randy Goble, and Gulraiz Christian join up! Everyone give them a welcome aboard shout! Thank you for becoming part of our community. Our first course is just a few days away from showing up! Well, the written portion of GETH (Gaining Ears to Hear) has been uploaded! We are almost there. Video production will finish up this next weekend or sometime within the following week. Either way, the "welcome to the course" portion will drop Sunday night. That's the 14th! Next Sunday night! I hope you guys are as excited as I am!
