Whether we are 100% commission based sales people or those with a mix of salary and sales bonuses or even entrepreneurs, artists, educators, software developers or small business owners we all need to sell products or services in order to make a living. The challenge for many of us it that our personality type doesn't match what we perceive to be a "sales oriented personality type" so we need to understand our own personality type and our strengths and weaknesses in order to be successful at sales. I can tell you from my experience in working a 100% commission based position since 2010 as a non sales person in a sales role I had my challenges until I understood my personality type and the systems and strategies I needed to implement for sales success. I created a course for real estate agents and found that others from other industries also had the same challenges. This is the reason this Community is pivoting to a community for all industries & businesses where people that find themselves in a sales role as a non sales person. In the meantime join our community and start networking with others!

Is this Community too niche?? I would really appreciate hearing from you! I want to learn more about about your business and your sales process and the challenges you are having converting leads to customers / clients. After all, sales is sales no matter what the business is and lead conversion is primarily a process. (and there are better ways to tweak the process) I would think that differences from business to business may be timelines, what you need to learn about a potential customer / client to be able to help them? What may not realize is that you need to know your own personality type to be really effective. Why not get together to have a conversation about conversion! I live in Oliver, "Canada's Wine Capital" We have about 50 wineries here in the area. I thought I would just post a pic at the end of my work day. It's Wine Time!
