Let me start off first, to say hello and thank you for your service!
I signed up for a six year contract in the Air Force at 34 years old. I ran harder and push myself harder to became stronger. My AFAC or some call MOS is 2A651 Aerospace Jet Propulsion. I have a background in diesel mechanics and engine building, but I knew nothing about fighter jets. So this was a learning curve for me mentally and physically. Trying to keep up with younger kids mentally was exhausting. When Covid hit a few of my friends committed suicide. This deeply impacted me and has haunted me since. I thought I could work more and it would help, also ignore the fact those young adults were no longer here.
Feel free to tell me about your career in the military?
