Seeking advice on content delivery and communication style for a niche YouTube channel
Hi,
I am facing a challenge that I am struggling to resolve on my own, and I would really appreciate your guidance. Based on the advice I received, I recently started creating content on YouTube. I am currently in my first month, and yesterday I uploaded my 55th video. Naturally, there is a massive improvement between my first video and my latest ones.
However, I keep receiving a specific piece of feedback from my audience. I am not sure if it is related to the cultural/living standards of my country, but people constantly tell me: "Your videos are highly informative and you share great knowledge, but your delivery/presentation style is very poor."
I am having a hard time understanding whether the issue lies in my presentation technique or the execution itself. I am about to start reading Evan's book, hoping it might have some answers, but I am already aware that my sentence structures (syntax) can be broken at times. My social skills have always been quite weak. I grew up watching documentaries, and my entire life has been dedicated to scientific research. Naturally, I tend to present my content like an academic.
What can I do to make myself clearer and more relatable to a general audience? Should I just give it time and let it evolve naturally, or should I constantly experiment with new presentation models?
Thank you in advance for your help.
