Goal setting

Hi, may be obvious to most already but may help some? A good idea when goal setting is to consider using the acronym 'SMART'. This stands for 'Specific' 'Measureable' 'Achievable' 'Realistic' and 'Time'.

So rather than setting a non- SMART goal eg 'list more items' or 'be more consistent' a 'SMART' alternative would be to say you are going to list X amount of items, over X amount of days, spend X amount of money on COGS and make X amount of profit from those items. Because a SMART goal is so specific, you can review them at the end of the week and see explicitly whether you met your goal or not and if not, you can review why not and improve next week.
