Need Help with 1940 Census
My grandfather name is John O Bible and I have been trying to figure this out for quite sometime, my mom is the only one of his 11 children still living and she does not remember him being married but twice, however on family search it has an Alice Hill married to John O Bible, after researching the marriage certifacate I can see where they just possible found a John Bible and attached it. However after looking at the census that was done it 1940 it says she married a John S Bible which I have also found in my family tree and it better matches the age and information provided. Is there a better way to prove which John Bible it belongs to because I have had several people reach out to me telling me that Alice needs to be added to my tree, and i just politely tell them that until I can get more information to prove which person that she belongs to I am not adding her to my grandfathers tree. I have attached the copy of marriage license and a copy of the census that I have found any help would be greatful.
