Hi introduce yourself!
Hi everyone, I’m Wendy. I’m a cosmetology instructor and a stylist, and I created this community because so many students graduate feeling excited… but also completely lost about what comes next. In school we learn how to do hair, but we don’t always learn things like: •how to choose the right salon •commission vs booth rental •how to build a clientele •how to charge what you’re worth This community is a place where we can talk honestly about the beauty industry and help each other grow into confident professionals. I’d love for you to introduce yourself: •What school are you attending or did you graduate from? •What service do you love doing most? What are you most nervous about after school? I’m really glad your here🩷

Let’s get to know each other a little better
If you could choose your ideal salon environment right now, what would it be? 1️⃣ Commission salon 2️⃣ Booth rental 3️⃣ Salon suite 4️⃣ Small private salon And tell us why. Your personality, work style, and goals all play a role in choosing the right environment, and a lot of new stylists don’t realize how important that decision is. Drop your answer below — I’m curious where everyone sees themselves in the industry
Hi! So I was thinking…
Drop your dream salon 👇 No overthinking—just answer this: 1. Suite, commission, or hourly? 2. Big busy salon or small chill spot? 3. What matters MOST to you right now: There’s no wrong answer—I’m going to help you figure out if it actually fits YOU (not just what sounds good) I’ll respond to everyone
