Hello all!
My name is Fred, and I'm a 35 year old husband father of 3 kids (aged 2 and under). I grew up in Pickering, Ontario (30-40 mins East of Toronto), and that's what I think about, when I get asked "where are you from?". However, I currently live in a small town, one hour East of Timmins, called Iroquois Falls. I just started a career job as a Correctional Officer, (been at it for almost 2 months now), and this is my second career change, all in the hopes of making more money to feed my family. And that is the why, behind me wanting to be a part of communities like this. It is to be able to take care of my loved ones, and live the life style I want to live.
One of the things I can contribute to the group is, that I am a people person, with an entrepreneurial spirit (I love the challenge and the thrill of making a deal), and that as I gain more knowledge, I am someone who is happy to share, what I know, in order to help others. One of the biggest traits I also have is that I love to learn, from other people, books, and different forms of media.
And that is my spiel, thanks for taking the time to read this post, and hope to hear from you all!
