Breaking The Cycle
Embracing Your Identity in Christ
Embracing your authentic self through Christ does not mean becoming who the world says you are. It means becoming who God created you to be before pain, shame, fear, and inherited patterns shaped your thinking. Your authentic self is not your trauma response. Your authentic self is not your family pattern. Your authentic self is not your shame. Your authentic self is not your religious performance. Your authentic self is who you are in Christ. Embracing Your Identity in Christ
JUNE 1–30 BCPT COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Breaking Cycles: 30 Days of Prayer, Awareness & Transformation Theme: You + God's Word + Daily Prayer = Transformation "You and God's Word" 📖 Romans 12:2"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." 📖 2 Corinthians 5:17"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!" Welcome to the June Transformation Challenge From June 1–30, we are committing to spending intentional time with God as we identify, confront, and break unhealthy cycles, patterns, and inherited traits that may be affecting our lives, relationships, decisions, and spiritual growth. This challenge is not about perfection. It is about awareness, accountability, prayer, and transformation. Many of the struggles we face today did not start with us. Some patterns were learned, inherited, modeled, or passed down through generations. Examples include: - Fear - Anxiety - Anger - Silence - Rejection - Shame - Pride - Control - People-pleasing - Unforgiveness - Victim mentality - Negative self-talk - Emotional suppression - Lack of boundaries - Financial dysfunction - Toxic relationships God wants to reveal these areas not to condemn us—but to heal us. Why Is Awareness Important? You cannot heal what you refuse to acknowledge. Awareness allows us to identify: ✔ Thoughts that limit us ✔ Behaviors that hurt us ✔ Patterns that keep repeating ✔ Attachments that compete with God ✔ Areas where transformation is needed Why Is Accountability Important? Accountability helps us grow. Instead of blaming others, accountability asks: - What is my responsibility? - What is God trying to teach me? - What needs to change in me? True transformation begins when we become honest with ourselves and God. Your June Prayer Challenge Every day ask God: 🙏 Lord, reveal any cycle, pattern, mindset, belief, habit, wound, attachment, or inherited trait that is preventing me from becoming who You created me to be. 🙏 Give me the courage to confront it.

Breaking Cycles: From Spiritual Blindness to Lasting Transformation
Just as the man was born physically blind, many people are born into generational patterns, inherited beliefs, trauma, fear, rejection, and spiritual blindness. Transformation begins when Jesus opens our eyes to see beyond what we've inherited and into who God created us to become. Sustaining change requires keeping our spiritual eyes open long after the initial Breakthrough. Live Tonight at 6pm Eastern.
