How to Open an Interactive Brokers Account

Lot's of folks ask me which broker I recommend and use and it's hands down Interactive Brokers.

They've been in the game since 1977 and are a publicly listed company in the NYSE so you have trust and faith that they know what they're doing especially handling your hard earned money.

Also, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU OPEN A CASH ACCOUNT. NOT MARGIN!

Margin accounts are leveraged and basically you "borrow" money to control larger positions which if they go against you, you'll lose money immediately.

Cash accounts are 1:1 meaning 1 dollar controls 1 single unit of stock.
