ChatGPT Plugins - What do you use instead?

I recently signed up for BAIS camp 2.0 and the first lesson I watched was the one on Whimsical GPT. In this video

shows that ChatGPT plugins so with my ADHD brain I went off on a tangent to find out what they are, what they do etc etc I thought she said only the Whimsical GPT plugin was temporarily unavailable but it looks like Chatgpt are doing away with ChatGPT plugins because when I asked it how I access them it came back with: As of April 2025, ChatGPT has transitioned from the traditional plugin system to a more integrated approach using custom GPTs.

I guess I won't know what I have missed out on as I didn't know they were there. Can't help feeling like I've missed out on something (FOMO). Missed out by a couple of days .....
