Welcome to Comedy Dojo Online!
This is where comedians get good. Not by accident, not by luck, but by doing the work in the right order. We are not the greenroom. We are the gym. You'll see belts here, the same way martial arts have belts. They're earned through real work; they cannot be bought. Each belt is a step in a comedian's career: from your first set, to selling out your own shows, to delivering a 45-minute headlining set at our 55-seat sold-out room at Backroom Comedy Club in Toronto. Start with the two FREE courses in the Classroom. Then decide if you want to keep training. We see you. We're here. Let's go. -- Brandon J. Sobel & Ariel Kagan, Senseis

The Comedy Dojo Code (Community Rules)
The Comedy Dojo Community runs on three rules: 1. Respect the work. Everyone here is at a different belt level. Treat newer comedians the way you wish you'd been treated when you started. 2. Receipts only. When you give feedback, point to what specifically worked or didn't. 'It was funny' is not feedback. 'The setup landed because of the specific detail about your dad' is feedback. 3. No selling, no spamming, no self-promotion outside the Wins channel. This is a training ground, not a marketplace. Save your show announcements for the Wins channel. Violations get a warning. Repeat violations get removed. The Senseis make the call. No appeals.
