Welcome to a Space for Real ADHD Life
Living with ADHD feels like being hyper-aware of your own self-destruction, but powerless to stop it. Addiction, insecurities, sensitivities, anger, overthinking, oversharing, isolation, anxiety, depression, rejection sensitivity, insomnia—the list goes on. Negative dopamine chasing creates issues in relationships, yet we reflect on our partners, knowing deep down we’re hurting them, but it’s hard to explain or control. Having children adds another layer. Seeing your kids as neurodivergent too brings worry—how can you guide them when you’re still figuring yourself out? And yet, awareness is power. Your understanding can help them thrive where you may not have been nurtured the way your mind needed. We’re clever, unique, creative, and think differently—but stigma, doubt, and negative self-talk keep us quiet. We feel destined for something big, yet end up circling the same patterns. This page is for all of it: awareness, support, advice, communication, community, and normalization. One post, one comment, one shared experience—could change your life. Also… if anyone has tips on willpower, commitment, or discipline, please send them my way!
