I’ve been sitting with something I want to share with you.
I wrote a book — You Get What You Get — and I originally thought it would be published by the end of January.
Then my mom passed away. I put everything on hold.
When I picked my manuscript back up, I realized I needed to learn so much more about the self-publishing process. After watching YouTube videos and finding another Skool community, I understood I had a lot of work to do.
That began the process of reaching out to trusted colleagues, inspiring entrepreneurs, and my guiding mentors to write blurbs.
I sent the book to about 10 people, and almost everyone agreed to support me. One of them suggested I reach out to a mutual friend about hosting the launch.
Before I could even ask — she emailed me first!
She said she’d been pulled into the book and wanted to know if I’d like to host a talk at her place.
All aligns when you identify who you are. You get what you get because you get who you are.
