My 24k subscriber car channel was hacked and deleted
To everyone who follows and supports HoodStig, I wanted to give you all an update on what’s been happening. Around 8 days ago, my Gmail account and YouTube channel were hijacked after I was targeted by a fake sponsorship scam. Shortly after gaining access, the attacker started a cryptocurrency livestream on my channel, changed my account security details, and I lost access to my Gmail, YouTube Studio and the HoodStig channel. Since then, I have been working with YouTube and Google to try and recover the account. The official account hijacking form has been completed and my recovery case is currently still in progress. This channel represents years of hard work, memories, project builds and content that many of you have followed from the very beginning. It’s been an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience, and I honestly haven’t slept much since it happened. I want to thank everyone who has reached out, offered support and checked in on me. It genuinely means a lot. For now, please be careful of any suspicious messages, livestreams or content that may appear claiming to be from me. If there are any updates regarding the recovery of the channel, I’ll share them as soon as I can. Thank you all for your patience and support. A video from a new channel I had to make just to get the message across: https://youtu.be/wDn6e55A_t0?si=5y_o0hMUlM3oguWq – Moj / HoodStig
