Most AI-built websites fail one of two ways. Either they are tidy and forgettable, or they are a flashy scroll animation you cannot actually read on a phone. scroll-craft is Nate Herk's skill for landing pages that avoid both, and it is the one I use for my own site builds now.
Scroll becomes the timeline. Video scrubs under the wheel, sections pin while the story moves on, headlines build line by line. What stops every page looking the same is the rules. It picks one of eight page layouts, and each one bans what the others need. Every build has to invent one interaction that exists on that site alone. And a new page has to differ from every page you have already made on at least four of six points, or it changes the plan.
It also has a refuse list: identical feature-card grids, gradient text, invented stats, the purple AI gradient. Point it at your brand kit and your rules beat its own.
The part I like most is that it checks itself. A headless browser scrolls the finished page and reports scroll that changes nothing, text that never fully fades in, contrast measured line by line on the real page, and any video that never loaded. Then it hands you a contact sheet to look at yourself.
Install in Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add nateherkai/scroll-craft
/plugin install nateherk-design
Then describe the site you want, or run /nateherk-design:scroll-craft. Works in Codex too.
What would you build a scroll page for first?
