🔥 New Video: n8n + Claude Code = The End of Manual Workflow Building
n8n shipped its official MCP server in April. This is the first version of "AI builds n8n workflows" that actually works, and the technical reason why is the part most creators are skipping.
Old MCPs (community ones, hand-prompting with skill files): Claude guessed at JSON. No guards. Errors only showed up after n8n tried to load it.
Official MCP: Claude writes TypeScript. The MCP type-checks and compiles it before anything touches your instance. Only valid code becomes a workflow.
In the video:
Step 1 → Why TypeScript validation is the actual unlock (not just "AI builds workflows")
Step 2 → Connecting n8n MCP to Claude Code (Cloud or self-hosted, with API token setup)
Step 3 → Building a real automation from one prompt (with the self-fix loop in action when something breaks)
Step 4 → Honest take: when n8n still wins, and when you should just write code instead
This sits at the front of where AI automation is heading. Today: prompt → workflow. Tomorrow: an agent maintaining your n8n stack on its own.
