Answer to a Question: What version of AcadE will I use
To let everyone know, I will be using AutoCAD electrical 2027 but it all should apply to all other versions of AcadE.
Unfortunately, Autodesk hasn’t really made any changes or updates since 2007. The only major update I am aware of is I believe 2018 when they allowed companies to migrate from Microsoft access to SQL database. Which most companies don’t take advantage of to their detriment especially if they have a multitude of users. Most companies I work at /with just opening a drawing or opening the database to apply a part takes between 8-20 seconds. My experience with switching to SQL drops all that down to less than 3 seconds.
