The goal of Authentically Autistic is to provide a space for "high masking" autistic adults to decompress and deconstruct from the demands of NT society while making connections with fellow neurodivergents that also value direct communication and information sharing without maintaining the egos of people invested in an arbitrary social hierarchy.
We value the autonomy of each person to hold their own perspective and the ability to communicate with each other about our differences without judgment, shame or bullying.

- Never knowing when something you say in good faith will suddenly end a relationship
- Finding out that people lied straight to your face to exploit you
- Being betrayed when its convenient for other people to throw you under the bus
- Being scapegoated because you are the only one willing to acknowledge the hard truths
