Iāve been thinking about how, when you really look at it, everyone chooses love in their own way. Itās the small intentions, the everyday sacrifices, the quiet choices, the moments no one sees, that add up to paint the bigger picture.
I had a realization about my family: every single one of us chose love over personal dreams in some way. We gave up pieces of what we wanted for the sake of each other. Not everyone gets to say that about their entire family (in hard times), and I donāt take it lightly. Even when love didnāt always come out looking like love, the intention was always there.
That kind of selflessness isnāt talked about enough.
Itās not flashy or glamorous, itās quiet, steady, and real.
To me, thatās the truest definition of family love:
putting people before ambition, choosing connection over comfort, and showing up even when it costs you something.
Sometimes it feels like we didnāt even have a choice, like it was written in the script. When love is real, sacrificing for it becomes inevitable. I think we all choose love, so we all gucci.
